The Skye High Foundation are pleased to announce that we are able to offer five charity places for the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 3rd April 2022. This will be the first time we have ever been able to offer charity places in a race, so we're super excited to support you on your fundraising journey!
The London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) is a run (or jog, or maybe walk?!) in Central London. As you can probably guess, you'll be lucky enough to pass some incredible landmarks, with the added perk that this is the only half marathon to pass through both the City of London and the City of Westminster.
The race is a closed road race, so you haven't got to worry about any traffic, just take in the views and the support from the crowd. On route you can expect musical performances, DJs, dancers, cheer stations and more. If you've always wanted to visit London this is your chance, raise money for charity and then you'll be free to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of London!
We are a small, family founded charity run by volunteers, where 100% are profits are for the charity. Every penny that you raise will go directly towards supporting families who have experienced the loss of a child during a multiple baby pregnancy. We offer support through: training of professionals, support packages for families, education packages for hospitals and more.
We ask that you fundraise a minimum of £400 for your place. In return, you will pay no fees to run, you will receive a personalised race day t-shirt in your size and a Skye High Foundation LLHM medal.
Your t-shirt will be sponsored by our supporters, with babies names on the back as part of our #saytheirname campaign. On the front of the t-shirt you can expect to find your name, so that race day supporters know what you're called to help encourage you along!
If you'd like to apply, please enter above with your name, and a short paragraph speaking about why you'd like to run for us. We will be reviewing all applications by 10th December 2021 when we will let you know if you have been successful.
